Hi. I'm stuck the other way round. I came for xmas, due to fly back to england on 7th January, since then I have had 4 flights cancelled so I'm over my 90 days. Does anyone know the 90 - 180 day ruling. After I eventually get home, When can I come back to Spain

After you've been out of the country for at least 90 days.

Hi Barbara11

Im no expert on this but from what i have read your be best to keep any proof of your booked flights back as you could be in for a hefty fine for staying over the 90 days.

Sorry for this news if it turns out to be true

It has been spelt out by the Spanish embassy, do not worry, you will not be forceably removed, you will be helped by the authorities to get through any problems, so do not worry this end.

Once you are home, it will be 90 days I assume, and you cannot visit any other EU country in the mean time.

The rates are coming down in UK. My wife and son both jabs and me in June and soon as the jabs start flowing in Spain corona rates will come down quickly. The jabs are key to everything. And I hope to come to Spain in end of june but who knows fingers crossed

Boris gave permission, if you have the correct documentation (i.e. deeds as proof of ownership) for UK people to travel and El Presidente Puig lifted the ban for the UK on the 30th March!!!! So it would be great if the Spanish electorate would get their act together and let us know if just what is right!!!

Permitted reasons from Boris giving the go-ahead for British citizens to leave the UK, does not constitute permitted entry to Spain until the Spanish government elects to. Stay safe and healthy my friend.

I have to agree that travel will not be possible any time soon. We were last at our property 1 March 2020. We have had countless flights cancelled and I suspect there will be more. Guess it is a first world COVID problem! Hopefully September or October may be possible? Good luck everyone.

I'm sure there are other ways such as flying to Amsterdam and onwards. The ferry is also running so maybe they won't be interested in your excuses ?
