Agree, its a great place, and you can be on several beaches within 20 minutes of easy driving, no traffic.

Its getting better every day, and money is starting to be spent on bringing everything up to scratch.

It will take time, but its started, and all is looking good.

One thing that you do notice on Camposol as soon as you arrive ..is just how clean and weed free the whole urbanisation is ..this can put down to the various gardening groups throughout Camposol ..that are always planting flowers and so forth...I also have another Villa on a gated community ..in a place called Los Balconies  but we have to pay through the nose for the services provided... when I drive from Camposol to Los Balconies I go through many other urbanisations on the way ..I will not name any but what I have come across is scruffy unkept urbanisations with weeds everywhere and totally run down surroundings ...the builder's that built these various sites made garden area's that looked like a oasis to make the site look attractive to potential buyers ..when all the properties had been sold and the builder's left the site ...it was then left to the owners of the surrounding properties to look after the various garden area's ....but they seem to have let what was beautiful surroundings go to rack and ruins ...my wife and myself have put this down to a lack of community spirit...other urbanisations just don't seem to have a community like Camposol ...A big thank you to all the volunteers on Camposol ...I am on D sector so tend to put money in D gardening group bucket..but I do put money in all the other groups buckets ..and let's not forget ..(FAST) first aiders these people are volunteers you may need then one day so put some coins in the bucket.

Frequent flyer,  you have definitely lived in the good, the bad and the ugly urbanization. It's refreshing to know that you are now fully fledged Camposolian. Good buddy.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Yes indeed, Camposol is very clean and I say Thank You overwhelmingly to all the gardeners that make this place a paradise for all to live in.  Well done people.

Don't forget to mention the volunteer neighbourhood watch group that make this place a SAFER environment for us all.

Do you also know that there are personal post boxes to all residents on Sector A. I don't know if other Sectors have the same facilities.

These are lessons for the rest of urbanization to follow, but hard to follow.

So what more do you want than to continue to stay happy in Camposol on your retirement.

Long live Camposol.

Glad I found this forum, just started looking at properties in Costa Calida and Costa Blanca and was at the Place in the Sun in Manchester at the weekend, first agent we saw I mentioned I'd seen a couple of nice properties and was met with a look of derision and a rather snotty reply.

Needless to say I am able to make my own mind up and do plenty of research on the area and the matters that have clearly been an issue previously, interesting to read the latter comments regarding the groups and how clean the area is.

Planning on getting over in the coming months to view a few properties and may find ourselves in the area in the not too distant.

Have just re-watched that episode, saw it just before we bought last year. For our preference we went for Camposol as that gave us a detached 2 bed 2 bath in our price range. For us Camposol is just what we want. 30 minutes to airport, 20 minutes to beaches (as we are here full time we don't feel...

... the need to be right on the beach) and 40 minutes or so  to Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca, main roads are good and very light traffic compared to UK (Swindon to Bristol on M4 🤬). Only been here 10 months and loving it, looking forward to much more exploring.

What is public transport like for someone who doesn't drive?
