One word 'corruption'

I suppose it happens everywhere but this is shocking, I feel for everyone caught by this 🥺

I just don't understand why this was allowed to happen, it's making me very wary and everyone here has certainly given me a clear idea of what I need to keep in mind when buying! Thank you!

The top of the hill was fine, good stable building land, it was the spoil material pushed down the side that was unstable. If you visit Camposol Sector C you can see some lovely villas, then drive round the edges of the top part and you can clearly see the problem.

Bottom line is that if ALL of Camposol was a problem then it would never have expanded to the size it is today. The few problem areas are far outweighed by the positive ones so I would suggest you simply expand your search and take your time until you find a property in what you consider to be a good location

As an example, when we visited the property we eventually bought the neighbours on both sides and the other side of the road all made a point of saying hello. Just gave us that sense of community

I completely agree. Despite the horrendous problems I have with my property, I love Camposol and I would thoroughly recommend it. It has a wonderful community spirit,  everyone talks to everyone, everyone is willing to help. Don't be put off by negative comments you might read on social media or in the press.
