If you mean a pig farm where animals are outside the answer us No, they are kept in long sheds. The ‘pong’ is usually when pigs have been sent for slaughter and the shed us being sluiced out ready for next intake.

Hi, forgive me hijacking your post but we've owned a home on C1 for a number of years and have NEVER seen the pigs "kept in long sheds" as you say. If you're meaning the tin huts that are dotted around the land these are for shelter. The noise is usually around feeding time and the smell from them is minimal, usually early morning when there is a heavy dew. The owner, in my opinion, seems to be a very responsible person looking after his animals and his land by rotating them and burning any "waste product" so as to cause the minimum amount of nuisance to the residents of Camosol. What we have to bear in mind is the farm and animals were here long before the houses were built.👍

100% Vista70, the smell is rare, only once or twice a week, usually late at night/early morning so as not to cause disturbance to the residence, (very considerate in my opinion) and I think I said the same thing, the farm was there when I bought my house, so I cant, and do not complain.
