I agree with the comparison with the Irish property bubble, 'post popping'; Swaithes of 'ghost estates' (Urbanisations) is what I saw when purchasing here in 2014. Those developments, in the main however, are now adopted and fully occupied and maintained by local authorities. I don't see any reason why Camposol shouldn't receive the same 'European' treatment. All victims of unscrupulous builders and bad banking practices.
I'm still drawn to the area, despite any negative points learned about Camposol, I see so much more it has to offer a retiree. I hope you're happy in your new place by the sea, I'll soon be able to decide for myself which opinions outweigh others.
I think all opinions are valid but the good points of Camposol make it an area worth promoting with intelligence and rallying good will and possible further monies to make repair where needed and develop the place so people can be truly proud of it.
I thank all responses for taking this serious matter on and being brave enough to discuss it properly.
