Reading all this from outside your community, but with interest as I had several disputes with Masa when they were in business many year's ago.

Why are you arguing amongst yourselves? You signed documents when you bought your properties which would have indicated to you that you would all become members of local communities administered by an independent company selected by the community, and when set up you will all pay an annual admin ...

...fee. You will vote in a president each year and have a  say in how your particular site is administered. That is how it works in Spain, and you simply cannot opt out. All non payers whether resident or not will have the debt put on their properties.

If any of you claim to be ignorant of this obligation, you should take it up with the agent you bought through, and/or the solicitor you employed at the time for either not informing you, or misinforming you. You simply cannot expect the Council to bail you out lock stock and barrel.

I know many of you don't want to hear this, but you cannot bury your head in the sand. The quicker you act the cheaper it will be for you all and you can put a lot of the misery behind you.

rma44, I am not disputing anything here.  I will pay what I am invoiced to pay, and there is no need for the residents to start confusing the issues.

In fact, I am lost. Like the lyrics of Eminem, "am I going or am I coming?".  Because there have been many comments and I don't think they are counter productive.

All I want to know is, What's really going on here, where do we stand, going forward?

Zacdog, Yes, debate is fantastic and I love it.  However, we must ensure that everyone on this forum knows what we are striving for, and why we are doing this, and the result must be forthcoming from members, Contributing constructively is what makes conversation worth reading and listening to.
