Hi

I just got a quote of €1400 to supply and install two back to back air conditioning units in a Rebecca style property, is this the average cost or is it expensive.

Any useful replies would be appreciated.

Thanks

John

We had ours done a couple of months ago. We got a few quotes from 1 on Camposol and 2 in Mazzron, 12K btu, a cheap brand about 350 euros. back to back installation about 150 euros. We went for a Fujitsu, a premium brand and cost 490 euros. If you use your AC a lot and for long term, good idea to get a better brand. It should pay for itself in the long run. Good luck

Be aware that bif you go for running 2 split units off one exterior inverter unit that if it breaks down you lose all heating/cooling. With two separate systems you will always be cool/warm. A cheap system will cost you more in the medium term, given the high cost of electricity in Spain.

Assuming that one was euronics, could you give me an idea which other suppliers you contacted.  Euronics cannot install until mid-august, so I am looking around.

Thanks

Ian
