You need to go the bank with your current IBI, they will give you letter to give to the tax office - that's how we did it in September, as purchased property in Mar 2019.

When I did mine some year's back, Pablo in the Bank did it all for me after having problems with the tax official! Unfortunately Pablo has now moved on, but I find the people at Sabadell very helpful. Good to hear you did yours very easily and hopefully everyone will have the same experience.

What's all this Tax Office nonsence ?  As long as you have your current IBI bill, you just go to any one of the banks listed on it, to pay it over the counter! as per instructions ! No problem !

I agree with you, but we thought it was helpful to let people know you can  pay in installments...our friends weren't aware of a payment plan, and sometimes do struggle financially.

Oh, O.K. Gloria, that would be helpful to know you can spread the cost if necessary. Thanks.
