Hi i thought i would share this with people that are interested, Me and my Wife moved to Camposol in March last year we are not from UK so we have found things to be more difficult that someone from UK for example residentia etc some people keep asking about healthcare we are with DKV and we pay 235 euros between us  we are  24/02/1959 and 24/03/1954

i hope this will help people, and by the way i keep reading negative things about Camposol from people that do not live here and have never visited all i can say is since moving here we have found the community to be friendly and helpfull

Hi Mick & Cindy,  is that per month for private healthcare, and is that for your 1st year only untill you can pay into the Spanish health system untill you are both at retirement age?

Hi! My husband and I moved in Murcia 2 years ago, not from UK either. Getting Residencia has being hard but hopeful. I can say I've learned if you want something you have no choice but to hang in there with patience. Never to give up. We love our quality life in Spain so whatever it takes for our residencia so be it. However, a friend of ours bought in Alicante and her  residencia's moving must faster without the help of any solicitors or lawyers. We all are from the US.

As far as the private medical insurance I don't understand why you're paying so much. We're with DKV as well and much older (1951) and do pay much less.

We're now what I call phase 2 with our residencia papers. We're in process of the 2 years phase. To get cita in Murcia for fingerprinting to obtain the ID card is horrible but we're on it. You're not alone. If you have any questions PM me. I am becoming an expert at the process because we too are doing all the paperwork  on our own.

Best wishes

Why would you pay so much if you can have free Healthcare in Spain? All you have to do is become residents and affiliate to Spanish Healthcare system.

Simply not everyone has a desire to become a resident. Many people, like ourselves, still maintain properties in the UK and wish to split our time at our own convenience

Hi Mick and Cindy

Thanks that's useful and interesting. Does that cover existing conditions and how is the price affected if you have to claim or develop a new long term condition?

Hi thanks i think it is because you are both from UK we are from Guernsey and it is completely different for us not being in Europe everything is so much harder for us and we have been given all sorts of wrong info since coming last March and really do not know who to ask to get proper correct answers , we have full residentia etc now since May 2019 we have tried to do everything properly,
