I presume you are talking about butane gas if so it's straight forward, biggest stumbling block is where are you storing your bottle, once that is established you just need pipe and regulator

Hi there,

We recently changed our hob from electric to gas.

We bought the hob from Euronics. They have a wide range in makes and prices. If not in stock they will order for you.

For the fitting, we used Dan Bexon  who was excellent. Price will depend on whether you have existing gas supply and how much pipe is needed.

Hope that helps

Best wishes

Nigel

We've changed from electric to gas and we were happy with the change. However, we've recently changed to an induction hob. Quicker than gas , and no hassle with gas bottles. Would never go back to gas.

Hi

Don't forget that if you are going to install any gas product you will need a certificate of installation and contract to supply, if you don't have these and an accident occurs, then your insurance company will not pay out

We can all buy a gas bottle and a regulator and do the installation ourselves but when it comes to peace of mind that is up to the individual.

Better to be safe than sorry, would you have anything gas installed in another country without a professional expert?

Take care

Ed
