I would like to get rid of an old jacuzzi on the roof of our villa on sector B. I don't know how it got up there and how it can be removed. Any ideas ?

I don't know...but I guess so. The wooden "shell" (is that the correct word ?) is rotten and falling of. But the inside looks ok. Don't know about the engine however.

You will need a crane ( HIAB ) to get it moved, that was how it was put up there.

Either contact Eurospa's on Camposol A or have a word with the guys at the Garden Centre on Sector B.

The guys at the garden centre use a HIAB to remove palm trees etc.

Eurospas can't help me because when removing it with a crane would make it fall apart...So they said the only way to get rid of it is cutting it into 4 or 6 pieces. Looking for someone who has the tools to do that. Another problem is that it's not recycable and ecoparque will not accept it. I really want it to be removed because it takes a lot of room on the terrace.

You could cut it up with an angle grinder with the right disc in.

There are plenty of those on Camposol right enough !!!

It will make a right mess though so be prepared to use a vacuum as you cut it up.

Cut it up & put it in the bins bit by bit.

Suprised the Ecoparque will not take it as they take all other plastics old sunbeds etc.

Be very careful when cutting as most jacuzzi are smooth on the outside and fibre glass on the inside and this will cause imense dust and severe damage to your health !!!
