Hi, looking for the latest news on travel to and from Mazarrón. It appears there will be further “lockdown” measures in the U.K. which may make travelling back and forth to Spain a little difficult. What is happening in the Mazarrón area and is it likely that people travelling to Spain may have difficulty returning to the U.K. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..👍

Totally get where you’re coming from, however, this doesn’t address the question I asked. Without getting into an argument on the rights and wrongs of the “restrictions”, yours is exactly the attitude which sees us in this predicament. If we ALL adhered to the guidelines maybe I wouldn’t have had to resort to asking such a “repeated” question on here. Thank you...

Hi there,

Although Murcia region is now considered to be high risk for Covid, Mazarron area itself has so far been quite fortunate with low infection numbers. (14 cases in past 6 days). That of course my change. Mask wearing is compulsory pretty much everywhere outside, with concessions when seated in bars and restaurant. The autonomous regions are responsible for Covid strategy and in Murcia region, when numbers go up, they can introduce restrictions at a very local level, for example in Totana, which borders Mazarron, there are movement restrictions in place. As you know, things are changing rapidly with Covid, so any answers you get today, may not be valid in the future. If you are on the dreaded Facebook, you may want to join some of he groups such as Preguntas y Mas, N-332, Policia Local Mazarron, Mazarron Hoy. The local police page is excellent in that you can message them with specific questions about Covid restrictions and they get back onto very quickly, usually within an hour. The Brits in Spain site, is also pretty good. Hope that helps and good luck.

Hi, I know it’s frustrating when you do all you can to follow the guidelines and try and rid ourselves of this virus but then you see the selfish fools ignoring the advice and partying on. Thank you however, for your input/information....

Just arrived on Camposol.

Ryanair flight from Leeds Bradford about 50% full.

Everybody ( mostly) adhering to the rules on the flight.

Weather 22 degrees sunny & bloody beautiful.

Restrictions abound but apart from buying food & wine & relaxing in the sun I am not mixing with other folk.

One point to note about flying out from the UK

You will be required to show your Spanish QR code at the UK boarding gate.

There were no signs telling you to have it ready & it was causing lots of delays while people found it.
