Once again thanks for the reply, We do plan to come over and I was aware of the free or discounted viewing trips, however we've seen a few properties with different agencies so it would probably be better if we just got our own flights and stayed around a week so that we could arrange viewings with different agencies on different days. We live in Scotland and the flights to murcia don't start until near the end of march.

I read on this forum that someone said from viewing to completion it only took 2 weeks, is that the norm ? or was that exceptionally quick ?

That was last year when I bought my apartment.  It probably was quick. I was a cash buyer and I had a very efficient solicitor.   It was a private seller through an estate agent and 2,days after I had the offer accepted I came back to the UK and did it all from here.  The solicitor sorted everything out from NIE , bank account and sorting out the utilities.   Good luck.  Muriel.

We would be cash buyers as well, and it's good to know that things can be done from the UK once an offer has been accepted. we've mostly been looking on Mercers website and 2buy2let2sell, pretty sure both are based in Camposol, are there any others you could recommend ?

We have just bought a fortuna de-luxe on A through Mercers.....they were very helpful . I agree that you should come and see for yourself , that's what we did....had a good look around and settled on A because I can't drive and I can walk to the commercial centres .

My sale went through in 2 weeks but I was out here already & I was a cash buyer & the sellers weren’t living in my house. My solicitor also sorted everything as he had power of attorney.

I can highly recommend Cristina Romera Tesofil from Mercers. She’s lovely & was a big help to me in my property search. Mercers have the biggest selection of properties on Camposol & yes their office is on Camposol.

we are coming over again in April, we came last October, and  have viewed with Vinny @ anotherworld properties, Mick @Luz De Sol and Logan from Mercers we found them all to be very helpful and not pushy at all, we didn't find anyhing to suit last year but hope this trip will bring us good fortune.

We’re coming to Camposol on Sunday 15 - 18th April, I note Shirl129 and murial aka mu said they were cash purchasers and the sale completed in 2 weeks, is this the normal time frame for cash purchase ? And do sellers find it more appealing if your a cash purchaser ?

My sale went through in 2 weeks as there were no issues with my house - the owners had already moved out & I had a very good solicitor who had power of attorney so could act on things on my behalf. Being a cash buyer can help with the negotiating process as long as the seller wants a quick sale.

Quick update from me, as said above we flew out to Camposol on Sunday 15th April, the next day we bought a resale property on Sector C6 through Bluemed, everything went smoothly - we are now patiently awaiting the keys and the bill from PALS Solicitor !
