We are coming over at the end of the month to have a look around various areas with the intention of buying, We land at Corvera airport and are looking to rent a car, I’ve had a few quotes and they seem to differ in price massively, can anyone advise of which hire company is a good one to use without it costing a fortune or me being stung for excess charges when handing it back.

Ditto avoid gold car. We use flamenca cars or Ah rentals. Both have full insurance included full to full tank no need for credit card. No hidden nasties. With ah you dont pay  until you arrive. They pick you up from the airport and take you to your destination where your car is waiting for you. You can pay cash or debit card as they have a machine with them. They will pick you up and take you back to the airport in the minibus. 

Gold car & Inter rent are same company... don't forget to get hire car insurance off the net..it will cost around £50 for the yearly policy...if you take this insurance out you don't need the rip off insurance that car hire company's try to hard sell you at the airport.
