We had one fitted three years ago with a secondary flue heating the dining room, we find the pellets with the squirrel on the bag are a cleaner burn , the only downside of a pellet burner is they are very messy , very black soot when cleaning out

I think I prefer that to cleaning out a log burner with all the storage required for logs

I have a 14kw log burner in France and it’s great I only clean and empty the ashes about once every 6 weeks or so , but I do burn good seasoned dry logs on it which makes a difference. But the pellet burner will always be better for controlling when you want it on or off

Hi All

Wondered if anyone can advise from

Experience

Looking at the option of installing a pellet burner in our Classico

Can anyone recommend a pellet burner ?

Does oh heat the lounge and

Kitchen even with the recent ‘cold’ weather?

Is there any particular pellet burners you could recommend and what KW output it may have

thank you

Stu

Hi Stu

Look up Chris Robbins on the Camposol pages, he does heating and cooling, supplies and fits pellet burners for €1450 from memory, he will be able to talk you through if you need any help

We used to have a wood burner, but due the house being large and open plan it was neither use nor ornament. Plus they’re dirty, lumps of burning wood were for ever falling out.

Got a 10kw pellet burner niw which is great, takes a bit to fully heat the house, but we usually end up turning it off after a few hours.
