Hello, I wonder if we buy a Rebecca style bungalow on sector d or c would it be easy to rent it out. I mean is there a lot of potential. I definitely would use a key holder. And how much could you ask in winter and in summer. We are not yet retired, is still have to work for 20 years but we would come in the summer for 5 weeks and during the Christmas holidays.

Lovely greetings from Belgium

Hello.  If you purchase a property and intend to rent it out please be aware it is a legal requirement to have a Tourist Licence.

I think a tourist licence depends whether it's long or short term

Hello Yes the advice from those that have replied to you so far is correct

You would require a Tourist Rental Licence which means completing documents

for the Murcia Tourist Boars submitting them and awaiting a property inspection

by a tourist board inspector, after which your property is graded and advertised by the Murcia

Tourist Board.  The fines for not being register are quite astronomic, as renting and not being registered is seen as illegal tax evasion.

I hope this information is both helpful and useful

Thats no problem. because I live in belgium I even have to inform the Belgium taxes that I would rent out a property in Spain. Swoit, it's not a must to rent it out because we would be cash buyers anyway. But of course it would be a great bonus if it is possible. So again my question,  is it possible to rent it out if we have al the right documents.
