Hi,

I’m looking for someone who could really help me.

I’ve only been here for 2 weeks and I’ve tried to get registered at e doctors on sector A.

I saw Ana, and she gave me an appointment to register in Mazarrón.

I went there this morning and was told I needed more documentation than I was told to take with me today.( passport, national insurance number from uk and Nie number for Spain.

Found the guy a bit rude as he said that I should have bought along an interpreter.

On my way back home I dropped into the clinic on sector A and she said that I should have been seen ok.

I’m really stuck how to proceed, but I do need to get my medication for my damaged lungs.

Hoping that someone can be kind enough to help me.
kindest regards

Harry

You dis not mention your residencia. I agree with Roland  contact a legal translator Debbie Shaw is brilliant. She will tell you what you need to do  and will do it for you.

Unless you speak excellent Spanish, you will need to take a translator with you for hospital appointments etc.

The pharmacia is very helpful  they will sell you your medication in most cases  so you will not run out. Otherwise there are some private Doctors around who will see you and prescribe. The clinic next to the pharmacy on  A, for example.

Hi is it the town hall you went to to register on the padron? If so the man on the door can be rude apparently. Did you have an appointment? Fiona Harvey has booked our appointment for tomorrow. We need to take copy ibi passport and latest electric or water bill. You need to ask for an empadronar.

Message me if you would like Fionas email to assist you.
