Hi Everyone,

We have just been looking at a rebecca style property, and would like to have the outside glazed, like a lot of people have done.

If anyone has recently had this done would you be able to give us an idea of the cost, so then  we have some idea if its in our budget.

Also we will be needing a new kitchen, so again a very rough idea would be appreciated.

Thanks

We also intend to glaze the porch, so I'm following. Last summer we got an estimate prize of 6000 euros. A new kitchen is much cheaper, though there are also big differences in prizes.

Don't forget you will need planning permission to glaze in your terrace

No permission needed in Camposol. Only if you extend the floor surface of your house. Just got the info from an architect.

I would still like it in writing from the town hall, but if you're confident  then by all means go ahead I know what i'd rather do seen it so many times over the 15 years I've lived there

Hi

I tend to agree with Steve and would defiantly have it in writing from the town hall.

You say no permission needed on Camposol I have heard this so many times Camposol is in Spain and must abide by the laws many people over the years have done alterations to their properties without planning permission or even a licence, from the town hall with is needed for any alterations to your property including changing the colour.

But as Steve said if you are confident go ahead.

We have recently bought a rebecca that had a conservatory on the front terrace. Our lawyer insisted on it being in the deeds and it cost our vendor €1200 to have this done

Hello I am thinking of doing this as well but will definitely do it by the book. Having said that.........what is the procedure at the Town Hall? Is there a specific form that requires completing and if so do you know the name/number of said form?

Many Thanks

Fl

I can tell you what the procedure at the town hall is. You pay a couple of hundred euros and they put it in a drawer. And that's it. I know this from friends who did it.

I asked an architect and he said you only need a permission if you extend the ground surface of your house. Since glazing is only covering an existant surface, there is no need.
