Hello, I hope this information is helpful. We moved to Spain around November last year and things were so much easier pre Brexit. My best advice is to do as much research as possible. Try to look for work before you get there. You will find most things are advertised online so you can at least get an understanding. Self employment was my option but again do your research. Self employment fees for tax and national insurance can be quite expensive in Spain. Again do lots of research. In terms of areas we are further north in the area of Murcia. There are lots of golf resorts that have a mixture of expats and Spanish. The resorts are well maintained and you can find some great properties at good prices. Renting is also an option with many agencies. Again my best advice is to rent first and then explore, explore and explore. Have you considered La Torre Golf Resort, El Valley, Mar Menor Golf Resort fir example. There’s lots going on and each have there own community. Feel free to contact me for any advice. Good look.

To be fair, Camposol is like anywhere else when you are looking to move house. You either like the location or you don't

Seems to me that the vast majority of people who do move to Camposol actually like it and the fact that there are circa3k permanent residents there would support that comment

Everyone is different and Camposol is not for everyone but that is why so many posters suggest renting for a while

As for employment it may not be easy but if you are qualified or at least will do a good job then word of mouth recommendations spread very quickly

Thank you so much, I'm going on a full research week this week and hopefully things will look a little clearer but I'm as most people will think I'll unturn more questions than answers!!

If I have questions I'll message you if that's OK

And thank you for the information
