Expererience Camposol sector D

If you are referring to the flood video that is a good few years ago and under exceptional circumstances. Best to come see for yourselves. Yes Camposol does have its problems but the horror stories are exaggerated, in our opinion at least. We have lived full time on D16 for 2 1/2 years now and are loving it. There is an area on C with subsidence issues but we have not seen anything like that around us.

We live on Camposol A, but also own a property on Camposol C2 (in Lower C !), where we lived for 2 years.

No subsidence problems there. There are a couple of streets on Upper C which have subsidence issues.

We have several friends on Camposol Sector D, none of them have any subsisence problems.

Sector D is a fair way from the shops. You will need personal transport.

There were problems on Camposol in “the early days”. Many but not all of which have been resolved. The two visibly outstanding issues are the incomplete roads and lack of lighting. The local council has recently received circa €3million to spend on Camposol from a court case and have allocated a further €800,000 for resurfacing the main dual carriageway on sectors C and D. We await further news. The main thing is to make sure that the property you are viewing is built on land that has no ownership restrictions. Recently an owner reported that his sale fell through as the buyer could not obtain a mortgage due to such issues. Your lawyer should be able to confirm these things for you. Make sure you ask the question. Other than that, we have lived full time on D sector for over two years and it is very peaceful and quiet. As already said, you will need transport to get to the shops and other facilities.

We have lived on D for over a year now.

We love it, it's not everyone's cup of tea but you really have to take a look for yourselves.

We've met loads of new people here who are really freindly and helpful so I'm glad we came.

We visited and were shown about a dozen properties over 2 days on Camposol  and the estate agent ignored sector C and focussed on D. We bought 6 years ago and love it and not experienced any issues at all

You will need a car as you are about 7 or 8 minutes away from the bars and shops but the peace and quiet of D more than makes up for that slight inconvenience

I don't live on Camposal but visited it once and found it a surprisingly nice place with a pleasant community atmosphere. I would buy there no problem.
