Moving to spain end of year to retire thinking of camposol because of large expat community would help us settle and get used to the culture

Great expat community especially if you don't speak Spanish. But if you want Spanish culture then you need to move to a village or town

Sorry but Camposol has absolutely nothing to do with Spanish culture because there is none. Camposol is a 99% expat community and you can live there for 35 years without speaking a word of Spanish, eating a Spanish meal, etc. To get a taste of Spanish culture you will have to travel the area.
