I watched the police fine 6 drivers one morning for turning left into the consum car park. But I have also seen the police pull in there many times
Twas ever thus !
Simple solution is there, staring everyone in the face.
Bollards at the entrance to consum in the middle of the road.
Cant turn left then.
No one comes out of that entrance as its one way.
Everyone can see a bollard, but chooses to ignore a road or traffic sign.
Turn left at consum with a bollard you have got vehicle damage to pay for plus more.
Might be wrong here but that's what I'd do.
Well done michael99 for having a pop.
You were right.
And i think who you spoke to was a pillock

I don't really use that car park due to the problems accessing it.
The sign indicates no left turn into the Consum car park. The other problem is that the yellow painted hatched area is inside the car park whereas it should be on the road. This would mean do enter the box until your exit is clear. This would also hopefully stop the drivers coming up the hill and blocking the road.
Agreed.
As i said in my previous post, No one looks at road or traffic signs.
But they do look at bollards, cant miss them even if you wanted too.
And im sure you meant to say do NOT ENTER THE BOX UNTIL CLEAR.

HI, I agree with a post someone put on earlier regards to erecting bollards in the centre of the road at the entrance to Consum car park. Simple but effective, well done.Tell the Pillock who lives on A sector..
