Yes its a shame residents, and builders do this.

Its every where. The gardens parties try and clean up all areas but its to large a problem to sort.

Next week a group of people will be out painting over the graffiti that has been done around B Square, down the car ramp, and on the electrical boxes, same as last year, strange how it happens when the visitors come, and it was the same month last year.

Its the few who wreck everything for us,  as long as they ditch their rubbish, as far as they are concerned, out of their sight, problem solved.

Its a shame these residents, and builders, are not caught doing it, and we name and shame.

My thoughts only.

Its not just visitors unfortunately it's the residents all year round as well. Camposol scum I am afraid. Disgraceful.

I agree is not visitors dumping building rubble the local service roads are littered with rubble which makes cycling difficult and its dangerous for dogs and other animals unfortunately Spains CCTV laws make catching the culprits unlikely.

This is an article from Facebook highlighting the good & bad on Camposol it’s great the residents keep the area clean & tidy but why do people throw there rubbish and cigarettes around the commercial Centre it’s disgusting behavior 😡

.
Another great early litter picking run around the commercial center on Sector B. We cleaned the roadsides of the road coming into Sector B, the large dirt parking, the road down to the petrol station, the large car park across from the petrol station, the roadsides up to the social center and the area around the gym. We had an awesome group of 10 volunteers once again and we were finished around 9 am. As always cleaned up alot of rubbish but it is rewarding to see the area looks decent again (at least for now).

Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help. Thank you to the staff of Trevis Bar and Ian and Jane from Anytime Fitness Gym for offering us cold water, coffee and the possibility to use their facilities if needed.

We'll be out again in 2 weeks. In the meantime folks........please try to keep the place clean.

It’s hard to imagine what Camposol would be like without our brilliant volunteers on the various sectors we always donate to our group on Sector C & we recently donated some gardening tools.

Welcome to Spain. The Spanish have been dumping their rubbish all over the country for decades and still do. Somehow they just don't seem to care that their country turns into one big waist dump. It's just very sad and annoying to see that the immigrants who have landed in Camposol have adopted this kind of terrible behavior so fast. The good old saying "don't shit where you eat" does not seem to apply here.

Phil, thank you for your kind words about the litter picking on sector B. We try to do this every 2 weeks to make sure the area looks half decent most of the time. I go around sector A every week to do the same. The amount of litter there is alot less than around the commercial center on sector B so sector A does not need a group of 10 people for a regular clean up. If we can expand our group of volunteers we want to start doing this on all sectors of Camposol.

What also needs to be said, the business owners on Sector B in our opinion don't do nearly enough to keep the area around the commercial center clean. They pay a local company for a clean up once a week of the walkway inside the commercial center, the car park in the front, the car park at consum and the walkway from Consum down to the smaller chino next to the petrol station. All the other areas around the commercial center get little to no attention from the businesses and to be honest the businesses contribute to the mess alot. Have a look at the backside of the commercial center (which we do no longer clean) and you'll see what I mean. We're fighting an uphill battle and although we have 10 volunteers who are willing to help out with litter picking we could actually use at least 15 volunteers more to make regular clean ups on all sectors possible.

I know for a fact that Noah’s Arc tell people to just leave their goods outside by the back wall if they think the items can’t be sold.

I’ve witnessed this first handed.
