What did the staff at the golf club say, when you told them that you were not happy?

Nothing

I'm not surprised at the response from staff at bars and restaurants in Camposol to complaints, because even the owners of such establishments now don't seem to understand the requirements of customers.  Recently we have been confined to Camposol due to car problems and mechanics obtaining spares, and have had numerous complaints in local bars and cafes.  : Stale, dry, bread used for sandwhiches (hoping you won't notice). Horrible dishwater type coffee, - weak, burning hot, and unfrothy milk.(met with blank looks when politely told unacceptable)  We were a forgotten order completely, in another cafe, even when paid for in advance. Only one person serving drinks and struggling to serve trayfuls of mixed drinks at once ,resulting in another 2 persons waiting forever. - When the owner could be heard chatting at full voice behind the bar in the kitchen. - I could go on. - but do they care ? NO , only when the disgruntled customers don't come any more. A lot of these owners are newby's with a lot of money to flare off - and no proper training themselves; so can't be bothered to employ or train good staff.

Would like to know where you went as we have found everyone more than hospitable.

Think the golf club is shooting itself in the foot with the stupid eating and entertainment hours but must admit have always found the staff friendly and pleasant

As for making sweeping statement about all staff and owners in every bar or restaurant is totally stupid. Most establishments have their regulars who would not return if they faced the experience that is being claimed.

Well CFC1905 - if you are totally satisfied with the standards of Bar /Cafes in Camposol you won't need to know where the unacceptable is found.  I would not name such in any case, because there are always people like you willing to argue against anyone detracting from anything in Camposol.  Let people speak as they find.  I would only name the good bars, with good food and service, and with the exception of The Grove they are all to be found on Sector A - in my opinion.

Your initial post criticised Camposol totally but in your last post sector A and the Grove seem as though they can be excluded from your criticism, remembering that A is also part of Camposol. So which is it?

I would argue that for the last 2 to 3 years the world as a whole has faced some incredible challenges and so for ALL the establishments and their staff they actually deserve a lot of praise to have kept going and come through the other side. We will all encounter some rudeness in our lives but for me we should rise above it and try not to tar everyone with the same brush

The golf club is already reviewing some of their opening hours and the timing of the acts based on feedback from Facebook. If the places you visited that were not up to standard are not told about it then they will assume everything and everyone remain happy

I also like to think I am fair and honest and would not hesitate to make comment or criticism if I felt it was warranted, but equally I will say that I am a fan of Camposol and always enjoy my visits
