I can recommend: Builder

WARNING - I am not recommending a builder (although I could recommend Mark at C&M Construction) but that's not why I am posting this message.  Eleven months ago we started renovations to our villa and stupidly I admit, having been duped into thinking the builder was a trustworthy, honest and reliable person, paid the remainder for the work to be completed.  Very stupid you might add because shortly after that the work stopped.  Eight months of stress, anxiety and frustration followed.  Excuses flowed and we were left feeling exhausted.  In the end we decided to cut our losses, ask for our keys back (as we are not resident, trusted this guy to get on with works while we were in the UK) and to our surprise got a v. small refund which hardly touches the cost of employing another builder.  I won't reveal the name of this builder on a public forum but if you care to know more, please do not hesitate to pm me.  I believe it is my public duty to warn people that this guy is not to be trusted.
