Can anyone advise on the advantages / disadvantages of obtaining Spanish residency. ie tax implications.
It's not a case of advantages and disadvantages, if you live in Spain for more than 3 months you should apply for residency, it's the law and has been for many years. Many of us Brits did not get around to it, we were actually living here illegally. Brexit has brought many of us "out of the woodwork".
Look at Jim's Guides on the RHS of this page, there is a lot of info there re obtaining residencia, recent Spanish decree if no deal, tax etc
