Thanks Roland, may I ask what size of property you have? And if you have air con etc? We are not there and are receiving a bill of. Between 35 and 55 euros. I can momentarily change the bill to English but it always reverts back a d cannot see what my potential is online. We only bought back end ...

...of 2019 and have only managed to visit 3 times.... Thanks in advance,

I have  a 2 bedroom Fiesta on A.

No air con at all & a pellet stove for heating. Electric cooker & hob. 50 litre Electric water heater.

I have no issues with the electric tripping off through too much use.

I would imagine that if you have one or more air con units you would need more than 3.3 kw supply.

You say you have trouble viewing you bill in English ??

Can't you copy & paste parts & use Google translate ??

The Potencia is shown on the top left of the front sheet of the new style bills; and it's also the first line in the section that shows the bill calculation. For example, my last bill shows:

Potencia facturada 9,2 kW x 27 días x 0,123288 /kW día  (the 9,2kW is our potencia)

Roland would appear to be better placed to advise on any potential issues with a 3.3kW potencia, as I imagine that you need to be careful not to use too many appliances at the same time or you'll be popping a fuse!

 Thank you

Yes, Option 1, as your potencia isn't higher than 10kW anyway.

Hi, I have managed to log in and we have a potential of 6.9kw we have three beds three baths so when we can finally get over I need to look at this, however we do have air con but clearly when we are not there we ain’t using it! Our bill when we were there last august for 17 days was 270 Euros! Unbelievable..

Managed to sort the login Roland, thank you very much for your help.. not sure if we could go much lower than 6.75 on a 3 bed 3 bath with air con? Will have to add it to my list of jobs when we finally can get over, obs not using air con either at the mo... does seem a lot.  So appreciate as always your helpful advice..

I don't think you can go for a lower potencia than what you have got or you risk the electric tripping out all the time.

They will also charge you to lower the potencia.

I think you should think about your consumption. We have a 4 bed, 3 bath, with a large pool (the photo on my profile) and our bills are about €120 - €140 per month when we're there and we don't live frugally.

Without teaching you to suck eggs - highest consumption is from appliances that have a heating or cooling effect and/or a motor and that are used for long periods.

So I would start with electric water heater - is it on all the time, or on demand or on a timer?; air-con - is it on all the time, do you need it on all the time, or just as required, or on a timer, are you cooling rooms that you don't use, do you have doors & windows open when the aircon is on, so it's trying to cool the whole world :-) ? pool pump (unavoidable); pool heating (very expensive).

Other appliances are very much on demand - electric cooker, kettle, hair dryer, washing machine - and these are the ones where you risk blowing fuse - kettle + aircon + hairdryer will blow your fuses probably, but they're not in use for long periods.

Lights, tv, etc are almost negligible.
