Hi to you all Hope you are all well. I know from what people have put up that you need a car to live in Camposol. Do you think if a property was brought on C section could you get away with not having a car. And do you think they will build a supermarket on D section. As you can guess i don't drive.Be Nice for any feed back Thank you Eric
Only my opinions but ......
Unless very fit l would think carrying shopping back from shops on B to anywhere on C, in the height of summer at least, would be a long and tiring expedition. As for supermarket on D, very unlikely in my lifetime and if built on land marked up for this purpose the walk from C would be as bad as to B.
Maybe an electric bike (and trailer) could be an answer.

Hi
Agree you would struggle to carry shopping home but there is a community bus service. Dial a ride scheme for members. You call them the day before and they will pick you up. Its door to door. Consum supermarket also deliver. Mercadona you can shop online and they deliver.
If you don't drive you may struggle especially if you need to go to the hospital. There is a bus service to the port but the stop is over at A so still some walk away from C.
I also doubt any shops or bars will be built on either c or d.
If you still want to buy and funds allow look at sectors A or B. B is where the large supermarket consum is.

Hi there, good luck with your plans. I agree with all that has been said before. We live at the far end of D, and although we do drive, we have electric bikes and they are great for getting about, not just on Camposol but beyond as well. Just a thought but have you looked at the requirements for obtaining a non lucrative visa, which you wIll need if you are planning to retire here as a resident? It may help your planning. Hope this helps.

Agree mostly with aforementioned. Personally I regret moving here, purely as I don’t drive/have a car and feel v isolated, but I’m much older than you and have COPD. I feel like I am almost in permanent lockdown. If you’re younger and can walk 45-60 minutes easily, you should be fine. Then you have to walk back probably with shopping. And half of it is uphill. Personally I wish I’d moved somewhere flatter and nearer facilities. Just bear in mind that only a few years ago it would not have been a problem for me. All the best.
