The short answer is - I don't know.
Cehegin has a population of about 16,000 I believe. We're not very sociable and have had a quick count of British people we know which totals less than 100. We see people around who we don't know so if I had to hazard a guess, I would double that which would make about 1.25% of the population British, very possibly less. But that's just my wild, very unscientific guess and I have included people with holiday homes who would not be here all year round.
There are no urbanisations here so the British residents are scattered about, many, like us, out in the country. Hope this helps a little!

Cartagena City has a population of just under 214,000 themetropolitan area over 400,000. How many are British I don’t know. Although it is a lovely city most people live in apartments, British people tend to go for urbanisations if villas along the coast. Like the other respondee we live 20 minute drive into the city, usually to visit a hospital.
