I need to make more time and enjoy life a bit more are there any gyms and spas down there and if so what area so I can rent somewhere near them.
Perhaps if you're not busy you could introduce me to a few people and show me around hope you stay in touch.

Hi we moved over full time in July and so far are very much enjoying early retirement. You will make friends easily. Just by saying hello to people draws you into a conversation. There is a gym on B. My husband was going a few times a week. He has met a friend and they go regularly together sometimes twice a day. We are fortunate to have lovelt neighbours in our road that is quite quiet on D sector.
You will need a car on Camposol. I would suggest renting on A or B as you will be able to walk to everything. We decided to move over this year before the transition as I'm sure it will be harder for us Brits to get residency next year.
There are various groups that meet up here.
Come and see what you think. Good luck.

Thank you for replying I wonder if you could let me know does the gym have a spa like a sauna and Jacuzzi that sort of thing which I used every day before lockdown.
Looking at the forum advertises medical health insurance so that wouldn't be too bad. I really look forward to more sunshine I know for a fact it helps with aches and pains.
The residency I would think you got to register before January which lease things a bit tight. I think it's probably best that I come out and rent a place for month as suggested earlier.

Hi Phil
There is a sauna but due to restrictions can't be used at the moment in the gym same as the showers. No jacuzzi at the gym.

Weather is lovely and certainly helps the aches and pains. You need to wear a mask moreorless all the time here apart from exercising.
I made friends with a couple on this forum and have met them a few times now which has been lovely. If you come over private message me as I will be willing to have a coffee or beer with you and hubby will chat to you about the gym etc. X

Re- travel restrictions.
Flights can be very affordable at the moment - in the region of £40 return from Stansted, for example.
Currently, if you travel to Spain, you need to complete the online Passenger Locator information and show that you have done this when arriving at Alicante airport.
Your EHIC is still valid until end-December, but please note that most travel insurances will be invalid, as the FCO advice is still against 'all but essential travel', which is a general clause to render most policies invalid. However, following recommendations on this forum, we used Battleface Insurance who do cover 'against FCO advice' travel - although note they do not cover existing medical conditions. I have also seen other companies offering similar cover recommended on this forum.
The restrictions in Spain vary by area and have been widely updated on this forum. My observation is that most peole are observing the measures - masks, hand sanitiser, etc. but then I haven't been out to bars & clubs, where apparently the virus is being spread.
On return, you need to complete the UK government online form and self-isolate for 2 weeks. I have been working from home since March, so this was no issue for me, but could be for some people.
Hope this helps.

I have been told Spain's been taken off the list and I wouldn't have to quarantine if that's the case I guess I'll have to do some more research.
