Hi Holly, We’ve just received one for nearly 2870 euros. The water supply from the meter runs under other people’s homes and that pipe was leaking. ‘ nearly 21,000 cubic meters apparently!

We had 2 leaks but bills were no where near as high as those. We had Dan Bexon to  fit an anti pressure valve. We also check the meter as often as we can to check it is not spinning and turn the water off at the meter if we go away. No more nasty bills.

I need the water on for the garden irrigation. I need a system that can deal with that whilst I am not there!

Do you have a key holder or neighbour that can keep an eye on your meter on a regular basis so you won't get any more horrendous bills?

Good morning, What is an anti pressure valve please? I know about pressure relief valves, pressure release valves & pressure control valves, none of which will stop or turn off water in the event of a pipe splitting. I've never before heard about anti pressure valves and can't find them on the internet. Please help?

I'm a woman so probably got the name wrong but was probably one of what you said but has done the job and no leaks since. Dan Bexon will advise.

Or better still turn the water off and pay someone to water the plants. We save the output from our aircon through the summer in 5 litre water bottles and you that on the plants.
