It would appear that your lawyer is being negligent, so I would ask for the hoja de reclamaciones, complete that, and as a last resort report them to the College. As previously stated, if the vendor pulls out of the deal for no good reason, you are entitled to double the deposit. If you paid 10% then that constitutes the contract.
