We have solar panels from Iberdrola. The information about our usage is very confusing. What we export they pay us very little. We don’t receive feedback during weekend and holidays. Opinions please

Iberdrola reduces my consumption with my feed to the grid .....

I do not get any pay what is over my consumption. Suits me.

I use the consumption monitor on my laptop, which I find easy to use, but not to convert to costs / payments. I believe that the app is better, but I was told that I can only use the app if I have a Spanish phone number (which I don't yet).

If you are on the Solar Plan, your monthly bill should show you how much you have consumed and generated and then the savings you have made through 'self-consumption' and how much you have been paid for exports to the grid. Most of your savings will be from self-consumption and the rate paid for exports to the grid is lower than you pay for the energy you buy from the grid.

Overall, I save an average of €50 per month, with 80% of that being from self-consumption.

If you contact Iberdrola customer service or dig into the website, there are documents that explain how it all works.

Hope this helps!
