Mortgage Help for Holiday Homes

It seems that the Spanish Banks are not offering any help for customers with mortgages on holiday or second homes in Spain. Surely this will lead to more repossessions in this already difficult market. With another crises at the moment you would think that the last thing they would want is more homes on the market to sell at giveaway prices that would affect us all and the Spanish economy. With less of us coming to Spain you would think they would want to encourage people to keep their properties.
Does anyone have any ideas or views on this matter
