The fees vary per block and range from about 200€ to 300€ per quarter. As each block is a financial entity in itself and have differing costs, e.g. cleaning, repairs, etc that's why they vary. The BP will be notified to you when you complete by the resort administrator Resortalia. Hopefully you will enjoy our lovely resort.

How thriving is this complex guys please ? Scared of maybe buying on a "ghost town" kinda place. The reviews don't seem to suggest this but great to have information from people live on the grounds so to speak. The value of the places for sale are terrific some caravan sites want more for a caravan ?

Thank you

Sarah and Brian

...an ?

Thank you

Sarah and Brian

We've been here just over 6 years now and definitely don't regret buying. Yes it is quieter than some resorts, but it has an active community which is improving all the time. The bar was closed throughout the pandemic but since reopening it has become the hub of the resort. Through the summer there has been weekly markets, entertainment, etc. There is an busy FB site where you can clearly see the sense of community with people assisting each other, giving tips, etc.

There has been a range improvements made to the resort with more planned. We have a brilliant security team here, visitors aren't just waved in, they need to state there business here. Perfect for lock and leave.

As more of the bank owned properties are sold then the better the place will become. I strongly suggest coming and having a look, certainly much better value than a caravan site, your property will increase in value.

Hope that helps.

Thank you Jim,

Superb information pal, we are looking at early retirement although I run a bit of a part time online uk business. We are 55 and 51 and looking for a simple existence. The caravan sites in Costa del sol are quoting monthly running g fees of 545 euros per month - includes the site fee of around 350 euros per month. A nice caravan can be 35-40,000 as well so we looked at murcia area but there are so many golf resorts in the area. La Torre looks the more "advanced" with the hotel etc etc but the property prices are as according to that. Once talked to Duncan on las terra maybe 5 years ago (he had a avatar of his picture with snorkeling goggles on !! Lol) and he liked it was unsure which way the resort was going to go at that point and as it turned out that was pre covid as well.

Is there any blocks you would recommend more than others pal ?

Hi Sarah and Brian

We bought in 2019 as a holiday home and agree totally with the last post.  A great community. Great value  in apartments but they are going up which is good.  No regrets. They are also selling quickly  as I was looking for the past 6 months for my son. The clubhouse is a great centre for the community. We are in block 43.  A car is necessary. Blocks are in the process  of being painted at the moment which makes a big difference  to the resort.

Good luck with the purchase.

Las terrazas is nicer than la torre in my opinion as las torre is a bit tired. You are better to buy in a place where there is one bar but easier to maintain and nice. We ended up hacienda Riquelme but las terrazas was our second choice and great value

Many thanks for your post.

we are coming to have a look for ourselves in late March.

one reservation would be If there was very little going on in the winter !months when we would be there.

however if there are others there during those months it might work out

we would wish to avoid buying in a " ghost town " environment.Doug
