Hi hope everyone is well .I just wondered if anybody is using a online bank account without fees .Pauline has said about using cajamar on line account which looks pretty good .I have a starling account and im hoping that other people have it and can it can replace the spanish bank. .My bank has just increased a maintenance charge from 22.50 to 47.50 they never answer problems in other words their poor cheers, steve

would love to hear if there is an option for no feee banking as well, i only use my bank to pay electric and water bills and i get charged €14 per month, my bank have ignored multiple attempts to find out why i get charged this and how i reduce it but always ignored...i use Bankia

I closed my Bankia account in January as they were going to charge me the same as you.

so what did you do? as €14 a month just to pay €20 and €30 utility bills is outrageous, i have been reading that you can open u an HSBC spanish account or even santander but surely they will charge in spain as well?
I closed the account & opened a Cajamar Wefferent account.
