Evening, if anyone has successfully paid their local IBI tax, using the Murcia Region tax payments option through Sabedell online banking. Could you tell me please, where it asks for Name or Company name, is it Agencia Tributatia Region De Murcia or Ayuntamiento De Los Alcazares and where it asks for ID. Taxpayer is that my NIF please. Would be most grateful for any help on the subject Best Regards Andy

I had similar situation like you...
I have called Agencia Tributaria, the central one in Murcia, told them I want to pay my IBI, they ask me where I live, told them Sucina and they give me a phone number to a different office in Murcia.
Because Agencia Tributaria has offices all over Murcia, but I had to call the right one I belong to.
So I called the office phone number they gave me, told them I want to pay my IBI online trough my bank, they ask my name, my NIE and my email, they found me in the system, after that they sent an email to me with my bill that has a barcode on it and all details about payment.
I have accessed my mobile banking app caixa, I am now with cajamar, both of them have the same system, including sabadell, go to bills and payments section, and access the barcode scanner, scan your barcode you find on the bill and all details about your bill will come up,follow the rest of the steps and you will be able to pay your IBI.
About 2 days you receive notification trough your mobile app that you have paid your bill.
Now I don't know if Los Alcazeres have Agencia Tributaria office, if yes, check with them first, if not, you need to do the same as me, call the central one in Murcia.
If you know the one you belong to, is easier.

You don't say where you are at the moment.If you're in Spain call into branch (if currently allowed) and set up a DD.I did that years ago and it avoids late payments and fines! I'm with Sabadell and they are not the most user friendly bank when you're based in the UK, but I would email them and see if you can set up a DD remotely.

Many thanks for your reply, I'm currently shielding in UK, & of course the block on travelling, hence my problem in being able to pay it. Certainly wouldn't disagree, with Sabedell and lack of help!. I actually thought I was close to making payment yesterday, but it would appear I have another problem, in that having been in contact with Agencia Tributaria, it would appear that another person, his NIF is the same as my NIE, so when I entered my NIF to make payment, Sabedell would not accept it, but would my NIE, but obviously did not complete transaction. So currently in a bit of a stalemate and can see more exchange of e-mails, which hopefully will prove successful. Kind Regards Andy

Many people doesn't know about this.
It is the easiest way to pay your bills in Spain, including electricity and water, no matter where you are.
All you have to do is ask your provider to email your bills to you with the barcode and the rest is very easy.
Before, didn't know Spanish banks has a scanner system, which makes very easy to pay your bills.
I haven't seen this system in UK.

I went into the town hall in los alcazares, before lockdown, and asked for my tax bill, they gave me a printed invoice for IBI and car tax which I scanned at the Sabadell ATM (not all have this facility) after entering bank card and was given short easy to understand instructions in English to pay from account. Don't to forget to take in padron

Evening Tony many thanks for reply, which ironically comes at a time, after numerous e-mails 16 at the last count,to Agencia Tributaria they forwarded their bank details,so that I can transfer directly to them assuming I include my N28 and NIF in the reference when making payment. I am in the Sucina area and need copy of IBI so a Company can start to Calculate Non residents Tax rather than pay over the Top for Solictor to do it.I must have rang 20 numbers 20 Emails sent but no one seems to be Helpful they just Disconnect the line due to language Barrier.Keep getting different Emsils to Email someone else.I went into Town hall in Sucina Village couple weeks ago they couldnt help either.Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
