Please can someone direct me to where I can purchase a free view for my tv. I can't have a large dish, and I don't want a gadget or contract that can get me every channel possible. I just want a couple English channels for back ground sounds and Spanish channels. Is there a place I can get a free view box in los Alcazares that can give me this option, Thank you 💖

Freeview is terrestrial service in UK

Free-Sat is satellite service which you can get via a dish

You need IPTV and any television will do for this

You may be able to get a device 'Tablet/Phone' with a VPN, and get the Apps from the TV channels you want are get then screen mirror to a Smart TV

You may be able to get a Smart TV that allows VPN.

The BBC & ITV try to block VPN's hope this helps

Thank you for your help. Could you please explain to me what an pvn or IPTV is. I have a smart tv with a Amazon fire stick from UK. Sorry if sound bit dumb but it is just one area I don't understand.

I'm no expert, but was told to get UK channels the dish needs to be pretty big, around 1.4 metres .

But it's a one off payment, I think around 400 euros.

Not sure if a Firestick works here ,but you would of course need a broadband provider.

IPTV  is tv via internet protocol

Vpn is virtual private network, and allows you to appear to be based in the UK so you can then use the iPlayer and ITV hub.

You need to see a local computer expert to set it up, hope it gives you what you want.

I have satellite dishes at both of our properties in Camposol, Murcia.

One is a 1.4 mtr dish the new one at the house we live in is 1.9 mtrs.

Both receive clean clear BBC1, BB2, various ITV channels, Channel 4 & a host of other European services.

Both dishes have multiple LNBs and the signals are routed to 2 rooms in each house. Reception is good and clear.

In this house we have a smart internet capable TV, that also has a satellite TV receiver built in. Scheduled recordings can be made to a USB hard drive, plugged into the TV.

The other TV system here has a Zgemma satellite receiver (https://www.zgemma.co.uk/)  connected. It works well and also has recording capability.

In addition to the satellites system, both TVs are 'smart' & are internet capable, with lots of apps available. However, both have Firesticks connected, which are programmed by our broadband provider (Compusurf)  to be able to receive the main UK & other channels via IPTV. We can access the UK TV catch up services. This includes BBC iPlayer, More4 & ITVHub.

We prefer to use the satellite systems for UK TV because the picture quality is usually better than IPTV and more stable. It's also much simpler than faffing with IPTV. I use the Firesticks for Amazon Prime, Netflix & Disney services, also for access to various UK TV catch up services.

The simple truth is that you get what you pay for,  There are many people in this area who are buying their TV service from IPTV pirates. They get shut down often. Only to spring up under another guise.

Firesticks work OK here.

I have SURFSHARK VPN installed. Easy to setup.

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) system or service will alter your IP (Internet Protocol) address for the device the service is running on to change its apparent country of location.

The various IPTV service providers restrict programmes to various countries or provide completely different schedules. For example a Spanish Amazon Prime account will by default deliver programmes & films in Spanish and will not show many films that are available to the USA & UK.

A VPN will change your IP address to make it appear that you are in the USA, UK or whatever country you wish,

I have SURFSHARK running on our Firesticks. It's effective mostly, but sometimes Netflix detects that it's there and throws a hissy fit. Changing the apparent location or turning it off sorts that.

I, m glad you now know what you are doing, having read some replies I found them exhausting and over the head confusing. We bring our 2 sky boxes over to Spain and in 5mins have them running on the ariel cables from a 1.9mtr dish. No WiFi, no VPN, no smartstick and no bother. Get all the channels we pay for as in Uk.

Regards

Pauline
