Just bought an apartment in Los alcazares. Want to use it for holiday home only to start with. How do we get WiFi installed? Is there an option to do short term contracts to use at times we are there? How much is Wi-Fi generally? Sorry so many questions. Thank you.

Hi, I use a company Electronic Martinez. I guess you can Google them. Speak English and a reliable service. I hope that helps.

We used Telecable. Very prompt and very professional. You have to pay every month for the first year but can pause it after that. Very reasonable €24 per month for 500mb up and down. They also do 170 TV stations for €14 per month.

Hi , I use avatel. Its an on/off option. Its 29.99 € per month when I need it while I'm in LA . I notify them in advance or call into the office (at the 525 strip)when it will be required and when it needs turning off. The package also includes UK TV channels.

When Internet isn't  required it still costs 4.99€ per month.

Hope this helps

We are in Ribera and had Flexa install internet to our apartment.

We have their 'Internet por dias' service where you pay 100 euros for the install (including router and all routing of cables etc) and then you pay for the days you want them to switch on and off the service. The rate starts at 2 euros a day and goes down the more days you have it in a visit. They give you an account and I log in before I travel to book the days we need the service. It's been excellent. On our last visit we had a storm and it knocked out our router. I made a call to flexa and they sent out 2 engineers who diagnosed the problem and installed a brand new router - sorted in 15 minutes, and no fuss or extra payment. I understand flexa's coverage is not everywhere (it's subject to where their cabling infrastructure is installed), but we all think its brilliant for us.
