There is many families without food in the UK.

The government is doing a great job for all those 80000 who enroled on dhss in one week due to all work stopped.

But unfortunately if you are self employed then the 80% sickness assistance will be given at the end of June. Along time with no wage to feed a family.

All food prices have tripled.

Rental accommodation, landlords not getting their rent, more debt and eviction occurs.

The parks still full of homeless.

All elderly and vulnerable were meant to get a letter off councils to assist in food provisions. 2 weeks later still no letters arrived.

Drug dealers have freedom of movement with police so stretched looking after us. Dealers easy to spot going from one house to another selling product. Kids stuck in the house.

UK not so friendly as every next house is having lock down parties, with groups and loud music. Poor neighbours.

So on the street life is very much a different reality. I am sure the government will hold up its promises but at the moment families are hungry

Your clearly an ignoramus and to compound matters ill-informed

Your generalisation beggars belief. Try researching before making a complete tit of yourself.

As I said before the UK government had given a fund to all local councils to home the homeless during this  crisis I believe it is 3.4 billion and as I stated many are in this situation, because they misuse the handouts they get from the state for alcohol and drugs.

As for repatriation flights, theses are to be paid by the person that is returning to the UK ...

...

As for the holiday makers you refer to, if  British government had put restrictions on leaving the country the travel company would have cancelled their holidays, so I would consider it is the governments fault.and I hope they enjoyed there holiday.

You seem to refer to this case in Pakistan as your main beef. You state your wife is trapped in the UK perhaps being a carer, she should not have travelled knowing there was a crisis.

Carer she works in the uk lives here same as thousands of others she is still working in the uk still as a carer for old people in homes with shortages of ppe but like the many thousands like her who risk their lives daily they are applauded by most of the community and luckily not many making comments about she should have stayed at home in Spain perhaps if the rest of the NHS stayed at home you would applaud their sensible status luckily they do not

I am not sure where you are shopping to say that food prices have tripled as i have seen no change in any prices in the shops in our village . We have Tesco Aldi and Home Bargains and all well stocked now - apart from flour as lots more people baking .

I'm not sure what you're critising here quoting my post. You obviously know a lot more than me....perhaps you would like to elaborate for the benefit of us all?

WHOAH Alex, time you stepped in. What a load of nasties on this forum. There are a load of ignorant people on here - and they are allowed their comment - you may not agree and you too have a right to your opinion but please do it nicely!!!!!

We can all only speak for the part of the country that we live in, correct? I live in the South East and my town has lovely parks that are not being used by the homeless, nor are there any more than usual druggies around. Have.nt you hear that Butlins on the coast has opened its doors to all families without homes and also the usual homeless. Food prices are the same, there are some pieces that are in short supply such as flour but these can be bought at the local Farmers shop, infact many people are now splitting their shops between Supermarkets and the local Farm shops. Petrol prices have dropped but since we are observing Boris's rules, we cannot take advantage of this to travel.

Please, please get your facts right and your head pulled in before being so nasty.
