I've been told you need to go to the Town Hall to get a ticket/time you can go on the beach. Is this actually True?

Not in Murcia region, further up the coast around torrevieja they did this in the summer but from Mil palmeras down to los alcazares you just go to the beach and follow the signs and rules. Ie one way systems, no smoking etc.

Sat for breakfast on the Promenade at Playa Espejo this morning. The beach had been newly combed and was looking great.

At 11am there were seven people on the beach, two couples and a family spread over 300 metres.

No tickets needed!!!

Our beaches El Mojón Beach to  Playa de las Higuéricas all the way to Playa del Puerto in Torre de La Horadada is all good. Need no permissions from Town Hall. Hope it stays that way in our Paradise.
