Road Tax.

Bought a new car last year .Does anybody know if I will get notification for renewal? I was told all cars in Murcia have to be renewed on the same date. Confused. Many thanks. Chris.
Whoever owns the car on 1st January each year is liable for the road tax for that year, regardless of how long they own the vehicle.
The road tax notifications are either posted to you, or you can collect from the town hall, in March and then you have until the end of June to pay - you can pay online, at a bank, etc. You can also set up a direct debit, so the payment is taken automatically each year.
