I am a resident in Spain, only an English driving licence, cannot drive my car, 58 years a driving licence, with no problems for over 50 years, I pay tax in Spain. Now I have to withdraw my residence, pay tax in the UK,

It won’t allow you to drive your car in Spain though, unless you move and become resident in the UK, and just come as a visitor under the 90 days in 180 rules. Why not just take a Spanish tests and get qualified here?

Why didyou not change your licence before the cut off date?

It was widely publicized that you could exchange your driving licence without a test.
You as a resident can only blame yourself and of course Brexit

Why give up your residency for a car license,why not just wait till it's resolved,I don't your circumstances but it's not the end of world,there's loads in same boat.
