Hi
I have a car in Spain that I will need to insure, it's a Spanish registered car in my name, but I hold a UK license. My bank in Spain, Sabadell, have told me they can't help as I have a UK license only, could anyone give me any advice and a UK speaking contact who could help with getting this car insured please?

Firstly don’t use a bank for car insurance, talk to Miguel at the Insurance brokers (formerly Liberty Seguros) near the lower end of the Saturday market site in Los Narejos.
I have had a Spanish registered car in Spain for the last 6 years, and I only have a UK licence, I have always insured it with Linea Directa, whenever I have needed to speak to them, there is always an English speaking representative available.

Thoroughly agree with Steveb have used liniadirect for many years excellent service . One thing I would say never except their first quote always negotiate I do every year, it's fun and I always end up paying what I consider a good price 🙂
