They are known as 'Hugger Muggers'.

Happens fairly regularly on Camposol I am afraid.

The same thing happened on La Torre GolfResort about 3 weeks ago. The girl was in a silver grey car as well and grabbed the Rolex watch that the lady was wearing !  Must be the same one. They call it hugging-mugging ! 

Just mention the registration  number, give the Police a  chance.

We heard of two incidents. Friends of ours live in Orihuela Costa. Went to a garden centre. Some dodgy people hanging about. Shopped, came out, started driving away. Long story short car felt funny to drive. Got out. Flat tyre. Changing it and guy on a motorbike came up and send can I help. Tyre had actually been slashed. Motorbike guy stole money and their two phones. Friend with kennels had woman saying she wanted to board her dog there can you show me round. Woman accomplice went into house and stole his wallet and other things. Just makes you very wary when going out and about. 

The police said they work in gangs around that area.  Three years ago I had my handbag stolen out of the front of my husband’s van at the collection doors at Leroy Merlin at Zenia Boulevard.   I was literally at the back doors for seconds.  They must have been watching us

Did you call police

It’s important the Police are informed of the registration of the car, that gives them a significant lead to investigate & hopefully catch these people
