I have been looking to furnish our apartment.  I have seen from websites that furniture packages are available to buy direct. As I have never purchased a property abroad before could anyone advise me if this is my best option or should I wait until we return to collect keys.  Thanks denise

'The Furniture Store' on the road from Los Alcazares to Torre Pacheco offers high quality at very good prices and excellent service including delivery.  They do a great range in picture, lights, etc as well.

Hi,

I do not normally write on chat forums but I felt I had to as my experience of furniture packs is totally different to those expressed in this chat.

I’ve had my 2 bedroom apartment in Roda Golf Resort furnished inside and out using a “furniture/furniture pack” supplier online. (Jewellfurniture.com)

I made an enquiry on their website, received a phone call the very next day to discuss my requirements, they explained how their service works and how they can be of help. I don’t speak Spanish so I was relieved to have a call from an English mother tongue who immediately put my mind at rest, it was obvious they knew what they were talking about. We also don’t have many holidays with work and did not want to have to use up our time shopping. Their website had dozens of examples and photos of completed installations.

We looked through the furniture pack styles and made a few changes that better suited our taste and the layout of the apartment and then we received a quote with specifications, photos and prices.

The following month I flew out to Spain and met their representative at my apartment to discuss the quotation and make a few more changes and additions…rugs, lighting and choose the fabric colour for my sofa, cushions and curtains.

A month later my apartment was fully furnished, beds made, pictures and blinds hung, even the TV was plugged in, all the packaging had been removed.

I can not express enough what an easy process this was from start to finish, the flexibility of Jewellfurniture was fantastic, I was so glad that their furniture pack was not set in stone and that I could chop and change items to suit my style and budget.

All of the furniture supplied to me has been of good quality and all with long warranties, not a ‘cheap flat pack’ in sight. I highly recommend Jewellfurniture to anyone wishing to furnish their property in Spain.
