You will need a prescription from your doctor. If your doctor is not here in Spain and you are on holiday, then you should bring sufficient medications with you to cover the time that you are here.

Some meds can be bought over the counter in the farmacia if not you will need to pay to see a private doctor to issue a prescription

There is a Farmacia in San Javier open 24/7, they are extremely helpful and will give you, your medications without prescriptions. I go there alot without prescriptions or an out dated prescription. Will send you the link..

You can get anything and everything from the chemist as long as you have the box we ran out of hart tablets and took the box to the chemist and nothing was to much bother at all very very helpful and a lot cheaper than England we have 3 large chemist in los alcazares and always find then helpfull...so if your running out just go to chemist. Sometime you might miss calculate your medication..
