Hi everyone

Just wondered if anyone has used Abad lawyers when buying their property?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

We use Mare Nostrum in LA. They are so incredibly organized. They have done everything for us from house purchase to taxes and advise. Agustina is brilliant as is Eugenio. Good luck x

We used Abad for two property purchases. Our solicitor was Javier: he was okay and got the job done. However, there were issues with ignored emails and lack of updates. Despite this, we trusted his judgement and he did prevent us from getting ripped off by an unscrupulous "estate agent".

We used and still use a bad and also mostly dealt with javier. He came highly recommended and ensured everything was legally in place before contract was signed. However he is awful at  replying to emails or keeping you up to date. He promises something will be done promptly then months later still nothing and no communication. I think there are better ones out there and we will not be using them again

I have also used Abad and dealt with Maribel for residency application, and Javier for house purchase - they are really not the best at responding to emails/queries and I have had an issue recently where their mistake has resulted in my husband's residencia application being rejected - they are now trying to fix this but I don't have too much faith in them if I am honest. Javier still hasn't sent me a final statement or the original deeds from our house purchase back in July, despite me having asked several times. I certainly wouldn't recommend them.

Thanks for all your replies.

We are using Abad for a property purchase and I’m just hoping that, even though communication is poor, they do a good job in the end.

Used once, took the money and disappeared..

Never heard of him again.

GOOD LUCK!

The BOSS, who else.

Contacted to get something done, very quickly asked to pay him which I did via bank transaction. No invoice nothing.

And that's was it. Communication stopped.
