English Butcher??

Not aware of any English butcher, I think the last one closed down near the arches a while ago.

Although Spanish, are you aware of Facono, excellent array of meats.

There is another butchers at top of old square in Los Alcazares

Many thanks for your help.  Yes we used Taylors (by the Arches) but as you said they closed some time ago. Yes also aware of the nice butchers in the square in Los Alcazares but just trying to get some English cut meats for roasting over Christmas.  Will have to give them a try.

one point is they tend to miss orders     so you make sure they have you

in the delivery book    but very nice meat

There is an English Butchers in Los Belones not too far from Los Alcazares

Many thanks for your posting, I have used them a couple of years ago but can’t find them on Google, do you know their name please as I seem to remember they were down a back street but not sure of their address. 

I don’t know whether you consider Ciudad Quesada too far but I went this week to visit the Chop Shop which was recommended to me. I bought a lovely joint of beef, Lincolnshire sausages and sausage meat. If I recall the beef was around €9.99 a kilo, the sausages were around €6.99 a kilo and the sausage meat was €2.99 roughly. The sausages were excellent, I pressure cooked the beef and it was really tender and I’ve frozen the sausage meat ready to make my chestnut and cranberry stuffing roll for Christmas 😉
