PCR test is done by the Pharmacy in El Algar roughly € 80,00

Pillows: I would go to Carrefour in “Mediterraneo” Cartagena

Kitchen things: Chinese supermarkets (In Cabo de Palos is a (in my opinion a very good one) OK that basic staff. If you are a keen chef I would bring them over from UK….

Plants: tricky if you are here only on holidays.

We have on our solarium succulents from Lidl…(not always on sale) A good garden center is ALA30. (Drive via AP 7 exit 777 from the Los Mares shopping center towards San Javier ca. 1 KM on your right)

Plans: I used artificial Buxus and Gras…….

What things for the home? Decoration  again Chinese supermarkets,

or furniture The furniture store, Polgigono Industrial Estate Los Alcazares

(AP7 Exit 790 – direction Torre Pacheco roughly 3 KM on your left)

Very good quality – but not cheap

Cooker, Fridge….. Belhogar Los Belones (next to the church, same building as the Tabac)

When you mentioned outside plants I became a bit concerned, because as far as I know from Jan 2021, you will need a phytosanitary certificate to ensure you are not bringing disease back into the UK.

As your main post talks about a PCR test to go back, it is not exactly clear if these items are to take back with you as well or for Spain.

I’m told we only need lateral flow test and we can get it at

Farmacia Nila Martinez, Calle Andres Cegarra, 17, La Union 30360. €30

Although the farmacie in los Urrutias told me they might be doing them in the next

 2 weeks
